Alternatives to 11x and Artisan, and when a managed service fits

Buy 11x or Artisan when you want a packaged AI sales agent and your team will run it, with a quote from the vendor because neither publishes dollar prices. Choose AiSDR, Salesforge or Apollo when you want a published price and a smaller commitment, and a managed service such as Hastings when you want the outbound work run for you and approved by your team before it goes out.

What do 11x and Artisan sell, and what do they publish?

11x sells two agents. Alice handles outbound email and social outreach, and Julian handles inbound and expansion with voice and chat. Its home page lists eleven customer case studies and publishes no prices (11x, home page, read 26 October 2026). We could not load its pricing page on that date. Artisan sells Ava, an AI business development representative that finds and enriches leads, writes outreach and books meetings, with an approval mode, escalation rules and do-not-contact lists. Its pricing page sizes plans by leads contacted a month, about 2,500 for Team and about 6,000 for Scale, with Enterprise at a custom volume, and shows no dollar amounts (Artisan, home page and pricing page, read 26 October 2026).

What do reviewers say about 11x and Artisan?

On Trustpilot, 11x scores 4.2 out of 5 from 37 reviews (Trustpilot, 11x) and Artisan scores 4.1 from 42 (Trustpilot, Artisan). G2 shows 11x at 4.5 from 43 reviews (G2, 11x). Trustpilot lists reviewer country and not job title, so these reviewers cannot be matched to your company size. All pages were read on 26 October 2026.

A positive 11x review from the United States dated 10 May 2026 says: "Onboarding took around two weeks and our CSM made it super easy and we've been getting a lot of early results." A reviewer from Great Britain dated 24 March 2026 wrote "we received no meeting requests" and says the spend was $9,000. For Artisan, a US reviewer on 13 May 2026 wrote "Solid platform and everyone we interacted with, from Sales to CSat were great," and a British reviewer on 22 September 2026 wrote "At this stage, I wouldn't recommend it based on my experience." Four reviews out of roughly eighty show that outcomes vary and nothing more.

Which AI SDR tools publish a price?

Three alternatives, each described from its own pricing page (read 26 October 2026)
ToolPublished priceSuits better
AiSDR$1.50 per person prospected on pay as you go, no monthly fee; team plans for 1,000 or more contacts a month are quoted by sales; fully managed service at $2,500 a monthTeams testing AI outbound on pay as you go, then moving to a team plan
SalesforgePro $40 a month (5,000 emails), Growth $80 a month (50,000 emails); Agent Frank add-on $499 a month, which includes 2,000 contacts, then $0.25 per extra contact; billed quarterlySolo operators and small teams that run the tool and manage deliverability themselves
ApolloPlans named Free, Basic, Professional and Custom; the page did not show prices when we read itIndividual sellers and full-time reps who want a prospecting database with sequences

AiSDR's FAQ gives two different minimum campaign prices, $7.50 in one answer and as little as $3 in another, so confirm the meter in writing. To size a per-contact price against Artisan's tiers, apply AiSDR's $1.50 to 2,500 people for $3,750 a month and to 6,000 people for $9,000. That mixes two vendors, so read it as an order of magnitude and not as a quote.

What limits any AI SDR, whichever you buy?

Your sending reputation sets the limit. Google defines a bulk sender as one that sends close to 5,000 messages or more to personal Gmail accounts in 24 hours, and the status is permanent once assigned. Senders must keep the user-reported spam rate below 0.1% and never reach 0.3%, authenticate with SPF and DKIM, publish a DMARC record and offer one-click unsubscribe on marketing mail (Google Workspace Admin Help, read 26 October 2026). Every vendor above sends from mailboxes tied to your domain or its own, so ask who owns the sending domains and what happens to their reputation if you cancel.

When does a managed service fit better?

A managed service fits when nobody on your team has the hours to operate a tool, review its output and tune it each week. Hastings is one. A senior team from Renaissance Group runs agreed jobs such as prospects worth calling and outreach drafts, and a person on your team approves everything before it goes out. Hastings publishes its prices: a one-time EUR 10,000 setup and then EUR 4,500 a month for a 90-day pilot with two jobs, which is EUR 23,500 for the first 90 days by our arithmetic (Hastings pricing, read 26 October 2026).

It fits less well when you want thousands of automated first touches a week at a per-contact meter, or when your buyers are reached mainly by phone. A tool with a pay-as-you-go meter handles the first case, and hired SDRs handle the second (see AI SDR tools and hired SDRs).

What should you ask every vendor before you sign?

Ask for held meetings per 1,000 contacts at a customer in your segment, and call that customer. Ask who owns the sending domains, how long the contract runs, how you exit, and where a person on your team reviews messages before they send. Run a 90-day test on one segment with the measure agreed beforehand. The same test works for a managed service, a tool and a hire, so you compare cost per held meeting across all three.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

What is the best alternative to 11x?

It depends on who runs the work. AiSDR, Salesforge and Apollo are tools your team operates and they publish more pricing than 11x. A managed service such as Hastings runs agreed jobs for you. The table above compares them on published prices.

How much does 11x cost?

11x publishes no prices on its home page, and we could not load its pricing page on 26 October 2026 (11x). Ask for a written quote that states the contract length and what the price covers.

How much does Artisan cost?

Artisan publishes plan sizes of about 2,500 leads contacted a month for Team and about 6,000 for Scale, with Enterprise at a custom volume, and no dollar amounts (Artisan pricing, read 26 October 2026).

What does AiSDR cost?

AiSDR lists $1.50 per person prospected on pay as you go and a fully managed service at $2,500 a month (AiSDR pricing, read 26 October 2026). Its FAQ gives two different minimum campaign prices, so confirm the meter before you commit.

Will an AI SDR hurt our email deliverability?

It can when complaints rise. Google asks senders to keep the user-reported spam rate below 0.1% and never reach 0.3% (Google Workspace Admin Help, read 26 October 2026). Ask the vendor who owns the sending domains and how it monitors complaints.

How do we compare a tool with a managed service?

Count total cost per held meeting over the same 90 days on the same segment. Include licenses or fees, setup, the hours your team spends reviewing, and any tools you add.
